Privacy policy
What that means today
farlens.ai is currently a set of pages to read and calculators to use. The waitlist form is switched off, so no email address is being collected. No account can be created. Every page is served from one origin and requests nothing from any third party, so no other company learns your IP address or which pages you read. There are no cookies and no analytics.
Two small values are kept in your browser — a letter recording which home-page headline you were shown, and, for the length of the tab, how you arrived. Both are described key by key, with their lifetimes, on the cookies and browser storage page. Neither leaves your browser while the form is off.
The one company involved in serving you this page is listed, along with everything queued to be added as the product is built, on the subprocessor page.
The calculators run in your browser. The figures you enter are never transmitted and never stored.
When this page becomes a real policy
Before the waitlist opens. Collecting a single email address from a visitor in the UK or EU brings the whole of the GDPR with it, and the right sequence is the policy first and the form second — not the other way around with an apology attached.
If you would like to ask something in the meantime, or to be told when the policy is published, write to privacy@farlens.ai.
