Cookies and browser storage

This notice is provided by FARLENS ANALYTICS - FZCO, a free-zone limited liability company licensed by Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority under licence number 92168, with its registered office at DSO-IFZA, IFZA Properties, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("Farlens").

Farlens sets no cookies. Not essential ones, not analytics ones, not advertising ones. Our visit counting (below) works without cookies, so there is still no consent banner asking you to accept any. This page exists so you can check that claim rather than take our word for it.

What this site loads

Every page on farlens.ai is served from one origin, plus exactly one third-party request: a small Ahrefs Analytics script that counts visits (added 18 August 2026 — see Analytics, below). There is no tag manager, no advertising pixel, no embedded video, no social widget, and no remote font. Loading that one script means Ahrefs's server sees your IP address and the page you requested, the same way any web server you visit does; what it does with that is listed on the subprocessor page.

Until 10 August 2026 this was not quite true: the pages loaded their typeface from Google's font CDN, which meant Google's servers saw the IP address of every visitor. We removed it and fell back to the typeface already on your device. We mention it because a page like this is worth nothing if it only describes the flattering version.

What we store in your browser

As of 18 August 2026: nothing. This site now writes no cookies and no browser-storage keys at all. Until that date it stored two — one recording which of two home-page headlines you were shown, and one recording how you arrived, for the length of the tab. Both existed to measure how well the site worked rather than to deliver the page to you, so both were removed. They are described below because a transparency page that quietly drops what it used to disclose is not much of a transparency page.

What leaves your browser

The waitlist form is currently switched off, so no email address or form submission is sent. The current browser code also no longer stores or reads fl_attr. If a form is enabled later, the privacy notice and this page must be updated to match the fields actually transmitted before the gate is opened.

Ordinary page requests send IP address and request metadata to Netlify, and the Ahrefs script sends the limited analytics metadata described below. The calculators run entirely in your browser: the numbers you type into them are not transmitted or stored in a cookie, browser storage, or Farlens server.

Analytics

Since 18 August 2026 this site uses Ahrefs Analytics to count visits. It is cookieless: it sets nothing on your device, uses no persistent identifier, and does not follow you to other sites. What reaches Ahrefs when a page loads: your IP address, browser user-agent, the page URL and the referring page — the minimum a request carries. We use the resulting counts to see which pages are read. An earlier version of this page said we intended to use Plausible; we chose Ahrefs instead, and — as promised then — updated this page and the subprocessor list on the day it went in rather than in advance of it.

Clearing what is stored

There is nothing left for us to clear. If you visited before 18 August 2026 your browser may still hold the two keys above; both are removable from your browser's site-data or storage settings for farlens.ai, and neither is read by this site any more.

Retention and choices

Farlens retains analytics records for up to 12 months from collection. Ahrefs applies its own documented retention and security practices to data it processes. Because the current analytics is cookieless and sets no browser identifier, there is no analytics cookie to reject or withdraw. If Farlens introduces consent-based cookies or browser storage, this notice and the consent controls will be updated before they are enabled.
